Astrid Velandia has taken up the new role of Operations Manager, bringing over a decade of experience in assurance, certification, and responsible sourcing across global supply chains. Astrid will lead the delivery of global audit and certification programmes, overseeing auditor coordination, compliance workflows, and client lifecycle management. Before joining LWG Assurance Services, Astrid held senior operational roles at IFFO (The Marine Ingredients Organisation and MarinTrust), where she led global operations, governance, and compliance across multi-jurisdictional supply chains. She holds an MBA in International Business from the London School of Business and Finance, and an MSc in Veterinary Public Health from the University of Glasgow.
